What is the AMC Competition?

AMC (American Mathematics Competition) is the most prestigious math competition series in the United States, hosted by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) for over 85 years. It is one of the most recognized youth math competitions in the world.

AMC 10A and 10B (and 12A/12B) are two separate exams in the same season with different but equivalent problems. Students may take A, B, or both. Taking both gives more chances for a high score — the best score is used for AIME qualification.
